Ce'Nedra: 1983 Yamaha RD 125 LC

Ce'Nedra was my first motorcycle and I named her after one of David Eddings' characters. I bought her in 2001 when I was 16 and took my A1 license and sold her in 2003 when it was time to get a bigger bike.

Ce'Nedra the character has red hair and a very hot temper, so as my bike was red and a two-stroke engine is explosive I thought it was a good name. You can read about her (the character, not the bike) in David Eddings' fantasy series The Belgariad and The Mallorean.

Some previous owner (I was like number 15 or something) had modified her with a full fairing from a Yamaha TZR 125 (the successor to the RD), rectangular turn signals, clip-ons and a fast red paint and probably some other details that I have forgot about today.

As the old and well used two-stroke beast she were the schedule usually looked like this: Use for two weeks, wrench for six (including getting spare parts), and then iterate. The funny thing is that I then replaced her with another unreliable two-stroke bike and RD; they are fun to ride, just so you know. ;P

I took some photographs when she was up for sale, they are in my photo gallery.
